DANICA PAYNE

Located in the heart of Southampton, Danica Payne Aesthetics is a an award winning clinic specifically designed as a medical environment ensuring the highest quality of medical aesthetic treatment. All staff are hand picked on their ethos and previous medical background.

Danica is the Medispa owner and one of our facial aesthetic clinicians, who has over 10 years medical experience originating from a dental background. Being a Registered Dental Nurse, who progressed to develop her clinical skills and gaining her radiography qualification, to moving on to practice management in the private sector a few years later. After completing both foundation and advanced training in botulinum treatments and dermal fillers with the renowned Dr Michael Atkin in London, including one to one courses to perfect her knowledge and clinical skills, Danica started to build her ever growing patient base and has never looked back. Due to her dental history, she is registered with the General Dental Council, completes regular professional development training and is trained annually in medical emergencies. She has also been a registered CQC manager and is up to date with medical compliance and best practice.

CORINNE WILLIAMS
Advanced Aesthetic Clinician RDT, GDC 160786
Corinne has been in the medical field for over 18 years, starting her career as a dental nurse and progressing to a dental nurse, lecturer and assessor, which she worked as for 9 years at Eastleigh College. She then progressed within this role by going to university to gain her teaching qualifications within this time, including an assessors award and Certificate in Education. A few years later she returned to university and studied a full time degree BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Once qualified, she found her passion for aesthetics and has now been injecting for a few years and offers a range of treatments, including anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, fat dissolving injections and sunekos. Corrine and Danica's relationship first started in 2011 when Corinne was Danica's lecturer and then worked along side Danica as a dental therapist in 2017 resulting in their long lasting relationship and dream team in the clinic. Corrine has extensive knowledge of facial anatomy, annual medical emergency training and cross infection. She is also GDC registered. Corinne now also offers masterclasses for other aesthetic clinicians in cheek and tear trough filler.
AIMEE CARTER
Midwife, Nurse Prescriber & Advanced Aesthetic Clinician
Aimee joined the DP Aesthetics team as our Prescriber when regulations changed and our clients needed face to face prescriptions prior to their anti-wrinkle treatment. Aimee is a qualified Midwife and Nurse Prescriber, Aimee is registered with the Nursing and Midwife Council and additionally carried out her aesthetic training at Harley Street. Aimee works closely with Danica and Corinne and often attends training courses together to ensure our clients journeys are smooth and seamless no matter who they see for their treatment and consultations.

Gina qualified from the University of Portsmouth with a first class Bachelor degree of Science in dental hygiene and therapy. Prior to becoming a therapist, Gina was a dental nurse for 10 years including in the NHS, private sector and special care dentistry. She has a passion for looking after nervous patients and changing their perspective of dentistry. Gina carries out gum treatment, Airflow, fillings and tooth whitening. She prides herself on providing the highest standards with a holistic approach, the mouth is the window to the rest of the body.

Claire and Danica have worked together since 2011 in the private dental sector. Claire qualified in 2007 from Cardiff university and offers all aspects of dental Hygiene treatments including air polish, gingivitis therapy and periodontal treatment for gum disease. Claire is experienced in tooth whitening and is able to offer tooth coloured fillings. Known for her excellent patient care, Claire is highly experienced in treating nervous patients making the dentist a less scary and more painless experience.

Swetha caries out all our cosmetic and general dentistry specialising in making nervous patients feel comfortable and changing their perspective on dentistry. Swetha has over 15 years medical background and is experienced in Clear Correct, Invisalign, composite bonding and veneers. Swetha is passionate about all things cosmetic dentistry including but not limited to; smile makeovers, composite bonding, teeth straightening and whitening. Swetha is always routing to see your healthy, happy smiles.
DR PHILLIP MCCAULEY

After a year in general practice, Philip then worked as a Senior House Officer in the Oral Surgery department at Poole Hospital, gaining valuable experience in dentoalveolar surgery and passing the MFDS examination in May 2001. Philip completed many post-graduate courses, notably the year restorative course with Michael Wise in 2004.
Going straight into the field of oral implantology, he has been placing and restoring dental implants since 2002, when he was awarded the Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Philip carries out all aspects of implant dentistry, including multiple implant cases, full mouth rehabilitation on implants, bone augmentation and bone grafting. He has a special interest in the field of immediate loading of dental implants for single, multiple, full arch and full mouth implant cases.
In recent years, Philip has been lecturing to local dentists on simple restorative implant cases, mainly using the Dentsply Implants system. He will soon be coordinating the set-up of a Study Club for local dentists on challenging restorative cases.
More recently, Philip has been to Bologna, Italy, to learn the application of cutting-edge technology to help in the rehabilitation of immediately placed implants using the Weld-one intra-oral resistance spot welding device. This is a very exciting new field in implant dentistry.

Danica and Phil worked together in the private dentistry sector previously and now he works satellite clinics for all our patients implants and surgical needs.

Advanced Make Up Artist
Dizney is an experienced make up artist and Mac pro trainer with over 10 years experience. Having worked all over England, Dizney has experience in London fashion week with Mac including Covent Gardens and offers all aspects of make up including soft and full glam, bridal and prom. Dizney offers a make up masterclass once a year helping all of us to polish our make up skills at home which is always one of our patients favourites.

Laser Clinician, RDN, GDC 133683
Lisa and Danica have worked alongside each other since 2012 in the private dental industry. Lisa qualified as a dental nurse back in 2001 and has over 20 years of medical emergency training, basic life support and cross infection. Lisa used to spend a lot of her practice in cosmetic and surgical dentistry which is why she is renowned for her calming and high standard of customer care. Lisa progressed her career at the start of 2019 and added level 4 laser and intense pulsed light to her long list of qualifications. We use the latest technology on the market lasers with extensive medical research for proven results. Lisa maintains her dental registration to ensure she is up to date with the latest protocols and regulations.

Hebe joined the DPA team in December 2023 after moving home from managing in a branch of a popular London nail salon. She initially trained and qualified in Beauty Therapy levels 2&3 in 2017 but chose to specialise in acrylic nail extensions to create nail art. Hebe found a passion for caring for the natural nail, whilst adding enhancements where this appeared to be neglected elsewhere. During her time in London, her focus shifted away from nail extensions with extravagant nail art to now preferring simple elegant nail designs and working with gel products on the natural nail. Hebe completed personal coaching with Inna, our other nail technician, to expand her knowledge and convert from acrylic to the Magnetic gel system used in the clinic to provide gel manicure, pedicure, BIAB and sculpted gel extensions.

Nikki & Danica have worked along side each other for over a decade in the private dental field. Nikki has over 20 years dental nursing experience, has worked as a Treatment Coordinator, and has joined the DPAD team from her previous position as a CQC Registered Practice Manager. Nikki has extensive compliance & medical knowledge ensuring your treatment & patient journey is safe and of a high standard at all times. Nikki runs everything behind the scenes of the Medispa to keep the clinic and patient journeys to run smoothly. Nikki is GDC registered and has completed annual CPD for the last decade in medical emergencies, basic life support and cross infection training amongst many others ensuring you're in safe hands.

Abbie joined the team in 2023 and has progressed to our lead reception helping to co-ordinate our reception staff as the business has grown, co-ordinate all our new patients and enquiries, and is always on the end of the phone or email to offer assistance or answer any questions you may have. Abbie helps your treatment run smoothly from start to finish, including once complete ensuring you receive outstanding customer service, before during and after treatment. Abbie has worked previously in dental practices offering extensive knowledge in all aspects of aesthetics & dental.

Staicie joined the DPAD Team in 2022 as a fully qualified Dental Nurse and experienced Receptionist. Specifically interested in delivering quality gentle care to nervous patients. Staicie progressed to our clinical lead as our dental department grew and offers complimentary dental consultations and scans helping you to start your dental journey and assisting you along the way. Ellie joined our reception team to help with our vast amount of calls and emails. Ellie assists patients with booking their appointment, streamlines your check out process and is on the end of the phone to answer any questions you have. Before, during or after treatment she can ensure the process is smooth and easy as possible.
