How can SneakPeek® determine my baby’s sex?

If you’re pregnant, your bloodstream contains DNA from your unborn child alongside your own DNA.

If your blood sample contains male (XY) chromosomes, this means you’re going to have a boy.

If there are no male chromosomes present in your blood sample, it means you’re having a girl.

This gender testing method is 99.9% accurate at 7 weeks gestation. FirstSight is an approved SneakPeek® provider.

We do recommend having an early pregnancy scan alongside or ahead of the test to check that the pregnancy is viable and dated over 6 weeks.

How it works:

1. Schedule your appointment here.

2. When you arrive, you’ll complete a short informed consent form.

3. You’ll then have your blood taken by one of our trained phlebotomists.

4. We will then send your blood sample to SneakPeek® Labs in California, USA.

5. SneakPeek® analyse your blood sample using a test process called non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT).

6. The results of your DNA test will be emailed directly to you within 5-7 working days
