THE ILLUMIFACIAL
The Illumifacial is the next generation of the highly successful 'photofacial' treatments using a combination of specialist Lynton skincare together with medical grade Lynton IPL technology.
Treatment is perfect for anyone whose skin exhibits congestion, acne or break outs, discolouration and visible signs of ageing. A full consultation is carried out to ascertain your suitability and individual needs at a cost of £25.

You may experience a superficial tingling feeling on the skin and may see a darkening of skin pigment spots before they flake away - this means treatment has worked perfectly in providing you with a more even, flawless skin tone. As well as clearer, healthier skin, you will also experience an ongoing improvement to the firmness and plumpness of your skin in the following months post treatment, as new collagen is stimulated deep within the skin tissue.

Treatment includes;
1. Cleanse
The first step in achieving clear, healthy radiant skin will involve a deep cleanse using a specialist formulation to remove any impurities.
2. Tri-fruit Acid Peel
A unique Tri-fruit acid lynton fruit peel will be applied to your skin for anywhere between 3-10 minutes. The peel resurfaces skin texture and decongests pores.
3. Lynton IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Your skin will be at its optimum condition for the application of the award winning Lynton Intense Pulsed Light Treatment. This works by both stimulating collagen and targeting any discolouration on your skin eg freckles, pigmentation, vascular breakouts, general redness. In most cases the results are instant, providing you with dramatically clearer, firmer skin.

I always had perfect skin growing up and was really lucky. I hit my mid twenties and developed acne, predominantly caused by hormones making it very difficult to treat. I tried every cream, product & facial until I was purchasing a new laser for the medispa with the Illumifacial feature. I won't ever indorse a treatment I don't believe in as it is my name above the door! THREAD VEINS & ROSACEA REDUCTION
Our IPL technology works by emitting filtered light which is readily absorbed by blood vessels heating them to a point where they are destroyed. With rosacea, we can shut down some of the larger, more noticeable vessels but for the majority, we aim to stimulate collagen within the skin to help strengthen the capillary walls resulting rosacea flare ups being less often or severe.

During treatment a thin layer of gel is applied to the skin to aid light absorption by the vessels. The light is then pulsed over the entire area to be treated. The chill gel is removed and the area cooled. Rosacea can immediately look worse as we have put more heat into the skin but usually calms downs within 48 hours.

Typically a minimum course of 5 treatments are needed for optimal results, although you will need maintenance treatments which varies from client to client. We require 4-6 weeks between sessions.
Treatment is mildly uncomfortable and the procedure is actually quite quick. Most people describe it as a very quick, hot pin prick. We provide cooling throughout and after the treatment to reduce any discomfort. A consultation & patch test is required to confirm suitability for £25.

LASER TATTOO REMOVAL
The process of removing unwanted tattoos on they body using a laser. Lasers remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colors with a high-intensity light beam. Black tattoo pigment absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest color to treat. Other colors can only be treated by selected lasers based upon the pigment color. You should first schedule a consultation with a trained professional who can evaluate your tattoo and advise you on the process. The number of treatments you will need will depend on the age, size, and colour(s) of your tattoo. The color of your skin, as well as how deep the tattoo pigment goes, will also affect the removal technique.
